Meditation at Roots to Wings

There are many ways to meditate at Roots to Wings, whether it be seated, walking or moving.  Our meditation influences stem from a long list of teachings and teachers and spiritual masters who have inspired us over the years. While our meditation influences are rooted in lineages, our offerings span many great teachings.  If you have questions about this please ask us.
We have an Open Sit Meditation on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30am - 9am.
Susan Patten is leading an 8 week meditation series Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm starting again January 2017.
In addition, we have a new beautiful meditation room located on the 2nd floor next to the main practice room.  Students are welcome to use the space to meditate before and after classes when the room is not being used.
A partial list of the teachers and teachings who have inspired us include Geshe Lama Ahbay Tulku Rinpoche, Lama Migmar Tenzin, Lama Marut, Chun Shim nim, Thich Nhat Hanh and Swami Kripalu.
