Yoga at Roots to Wings is about healing, learning to breathe properly, reducing stress, gradually increasing flexibility and range of movement and being around people who want to transform their lives. We offer over 25 classes and events each week and have an amazing group of teachers and healers ready to help you. Students of all ages and levels are welcome. You do not need to be in shape or good health to begin yoga.
We encourage practitioners to learn to listen to, feel and respect their body. We encourage self-exploration and balance between effort and relaxation. Instructors help guide and support you with postures, proper alignment and use of props.
First Visit? Come 10 minutes early. Bring a yoga mat, water, wear clothes you can move freely in, refrain from wearing perfume/cologne & be prepared to take off shoes & socks. Please leave cell phones in the car.
If it is possible to avoid eating 2 hours before class, please do so. Mats are available for purchase. Students are encouraged to bring their own props (blocks & blanket) and are also welcome to use RTW props as needed. You can either pre-register for classes and complete new student waiver online or just come to class and sign-in at the desk. Please inform the instructor of any injuries or medical issues and inform the instructor if you are pregnant. Please visit our Schedule Page on our website to find out if classes are cancelled.
