Jen started her yoga journey 25 years ago as a teenager when she sought yoga as a means of exercise. She mostly practiced vinyasa styles that worked the body hard and fast. Later in her twenties she turned to yoga as a means to help cope with challenging life experiences. She learned and practiced pranayama and meditation along with asana and developed a more holistic approach to yoga that ultimately helped keep her head above water when times were really tough. She began to understand the deep physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga which became deeply rooted in her daily life and continues to be her anchor today. She believe in the powers of the 8 limbs of yoga and has been immensely changed by this practice. She truly loves sharing the beauty of this practice with others and aim to construct classes that are accessible to all, that draws from different types of practices to create a well rounded class that leaves everyone with a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around us. Most Importantly, she continues to be a student of yoga and seeker of truth.
