Beth Houlihan, Owner

Beth is the Co-Owner of Roots to Wings and teaches yoga to both children and adults. She completed her 200hr Yoga Alliance Teacher certification through the Anahata Integrated Yoga Teacher Certification Course in Newbury with Pam Britton and Chris Morton.  She has also completed the Back Bay Yoga Teacher Mentorship Program with Ame Wren.  Beth attended Master Healers Course in Sedona AZ, Brain Management Consultant Training and has trained in energy healing under the guidance of Spiritual Teacher and Master Healer Chun Shim nim.  Beth teaches a vinyasa style linking postures, breath and energy practices to help students relax, open their physical body, quiet their mind and connect more deeply inside.

Beth is ChildLight Yoga certified, has completed the full 300hr YogaKids Teacher Certification Program and has taken both Calm Kids Level I & II Teaching Meditation to Children courses.  She is also certified in Deep Play for Kids.  In her children's classes, Beth’s heart-centered approach to teaching combines a beautiful balance of breath, postures, active play, meditation and relaxation.  Through her fun, nurturing and creative teaching style, Beth empowers children to connect more deeply to themselves and one another.

Beth received a B.A. in Psychology from UMass, Amherst and a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Boston College. Her husband, Mike, is co-Owner at Roots to Wings. Together they have four children.
