Yoga Hope for Cancer Patients

Cancer is a catalyst for change and in this monthly workshop we explore positive changes you can make in your life. If you are newly diagnosed, in treatment or in recovery, you are invited to an afternoon of self-healing practices specially designed for cancer patients. 
In this workshop you will experience: relaxation breathing, gentle movement, imagery and meditation, flower essence and other forms of healing modalities, time to reflect on the deeper meaning of cancer in your life.  No prior yoga experience is required.  You will leave the session reneweed, refreshed and hopeful. This class has been featured in Newburyport Magazine. View here This class is taught by Rose Russo. Honoring your Body and Spirit after Cancer; Continuing to Heal

Support your ongoing Health and Well-Being.  Gentle, mindful stretching and supported restorative poses invite your body to open, relax and heal.  Each session will be modified to meet the needs of participants.  If you are still in treatment, please pre-register by contacting Arleen at 978.985.4166 or  By Donation.

Arleen has been practicing yoga for 30 years.  She began teaching in 2009 and has been trained in Restorative Yoga from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health and 200 hour yoga teacher training from Anahata Integrated Yoga as well as many other alternative methods from her teacher Chun Shim nim. This class is taught by Arleen Damon and Ann Mills. As a two-time breast cancer survivor, Arleen is committed to supporting those surviving and living with cancer through yoga techniques that eased her cancer treatment and restored balance in her life.  She also continues to explore opportunities to assist students towards aging gracefully.
