• What are the dates and tuition for the FALL 2022 Session 2?

  Our Children's FALL 2022 Session Starts

  Tween Yoga (ages 10+) Mondays 4pm / September 12

  Little Roots (Ages 6+) Tuesdays 4pm / September 13

   

  Cost is $120/ 6 weeks or $25 drop-in (please call ahead)

  What is the purpose of Roots to Wings' Children's Yoga Classes?

  Our children’s classes provide innovative, creative, nurturing and fun educational experiences for children and young adults. Incorporating the principles and practices of Hatha Yoga, we engage the whole child, body, mind and spirit, to guide them in building greater self awareness and self confidence. Through stretching and physical postures, children improve flexibility, strengthen their bodies, improve health and develop greater body awareness. Through partner postures and group activities, children build social skills, a sense of community and respect for self and others. Through movement, music, drama and arts & crafts, children enahnce their creativty and self-expression. Through meditation, breathwork and guided visualization children learn about the mind-body connection, improve emotional well-being and learn how to deeply relax. Through brain education and cognitive exercises, children improve focus, confidence and academic and social achievement.

  How do I register for a class?

  Please Contact Us or call #978-463-9642 to receive a registration form. These forms can also be picked up at the studio.  The full tuition per child is $120 for the 6 week session.

  What types of payment do you accept?

  We accept Master Card, VISA and Discover, checks and cash. Please make checks out to Roots To Wings.

  What should I do if my child will miss a class?

  Please email or call to notify us of their absence #978-463-9642.

  What should my child wear and bring to class?

  Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes.

  Can my child try out/observe a class before committing to a session?

  Children can drop-in to try a class ($25) but need to pre-register ahead to ensure there is space in the class.  To pre-register, call Beth at 978-463-9642.

  How will I be kept informed of class cancellations, special events and vacations?
