Reflexology can affect your whole body through the feet and hands.  It is a science based on the principle that there are reflex areas that correspond to all the  glands, organs and other parts of the body. By working on these points, blockages can be released, and the flow of energy restored which can help many health problems in a natural way, and act as a type of preventative maintenance. For about an hour, the client reclines on a zero-gravity chair and enjoys the soothing sensation of hands working over theses reflexes on the feet. Reflexology is relaxing, but also stimulating to the body's healing abilities. The session will leave you feeling refreshed and energized with a renewed sense of well-being.

Simone Vermette discovered the power of essential oils several years ago. One night, she became curious after reading that an oil blend specifically for women's balance should be rubbed on the ankles, followed by some Googling, Simone stumbled into enrolling in her first reflexology class. Once she held feet in her hands for the first time - she was hooked!

Simone studied the Ingham Method at the International Institute of Reflexology, and is an associate member of the Massachusetts Association of Reflexologists. Reflexology is a healing modality based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. Using the thumbs and fingers to stimulate these reflexes properly can help many health problems in a natural way. The answer to Simone's original question: the reflexes for the uterus and ovaries are in the ankles. Reflexology is also very relaxing, and since many physical problems are related to tension, reflexology can help the body's systems to normalize.

Simone is also trained in Raindrop Technique, an essential oil application designed to harmonize body, mind, and spirit. She loves meditation, chakras and yoga, and is currently learning about Tibetan Buddhism in a year-long "margha" program. She is also studying the goddesses of yoga, and plans to start yoga teacher training soon.
