Children, Tween and Teen Classes

Registration is now open for all our fall & winter classes.  Click on link below to register.  Drop-ins welcome ($15).  Please call ahead to make sure class is running and there is space in the class.

Family Time Yoga (ages 2-4yrs) This playful yoga and movement class is a wonderful way to introduce your little ones to the joys of yoga, while giving you the chance to move and connect to your body as well.  We will stretch, move, play and sing, as we bring poses and breathing techniques to life in this structured and supportive class.  A wonderful way to cultivate connection and health with your family.  For toddlers, pre-schoolers and caregivers. 8 weeks/$108.

Mondays with Christina 10:45am-11:30am   11/27/17-1/29/18 (no class 12/25 & 1/1)

Little Roots (ages 3-6) A playful class that incorporates movement, music, storytelling, breathwork and postures to introduce young children to yoga.  Class will be themed each week with a fun and unique imaginary adventure. 8 weeks/$108.

Little Roots Yoga (ages 6-12) A nurturing class designed to help children learn how to care for their body, mind and spirit.  Class includes traditional yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, mindfulness activities, partner poses and guided relaxation. 8 weeks/$108.

Tuesdays with Beth 4:30-5:30pm   11/28/17-1/30/18 (no class 12/26 & 1/2)

Yogi Warriors (boys age 6-12) This class will focus on helping boys develop greater strength and flexibility, focus and self-care.  Class will aim to balance active games and challenging yoga sequences, with rest and deep relaxation, in a supportive and non-competitive environment. 8 weeks/$108.

Thursdays with Beth 4:30-5:30pm 11/30/17-2/1/18 (no class 12/28 & 1/4)

Tween Yoga (ages 10-12) Tween Yoga classes help to create a healthy attitude of positivity, self-awareness and community – while also building confidence. Together we will explore how yoga helps us to understand our body and mind balance.  We’ll learn about yoga through the use of themes and practical life concepts such as kindness, gratitude and finding balance. Classes are designed to be accessible, FUN and to help students take their lessons off the matt and into their daily lives. 8 weeks/$108.

Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm with Katie  11/29/17-1/31/18 (no class 12/27 & 1/3)

Teen Yoga (ages 13-17) Roots to Wings offers a safe space for teens to connect with their peers while learning tools that empower them to feel good in their bodies and minds.  This class is for teens to learn and practice using yoga postures to develop flexibility and strength in the body. Learning to be present to the sensations and the breath while moving through various sequences, teens can begin to feel good in their bodies and develop a greater sense of ease and relaxation. Class will include a brief meditation to help students settle in, followed by asana, and ending with savasana (deep relaxation).  Drop-ins encouraged.  Cost $10 per class or $75  for the 8 week series.
