Advanced 40 Day Practicum

As a graduate of the 40 Day Transformation you have first hand experience in deepening your understanding of how yoga, meditation, food, and healthy community are important pieces of a healthy, happy lifestyle. One of the consistent themes we received in the feedback to the program is the desire to continue the program in some way.

With that in mind we are piloting an Advanced 40 Day Practicum to be offered once a year. The essence of the 40 Day Practicum continues to be self-inquiry through yoga, just like the original 40 Day Transformation. The big difference is that this program is expressly designed to build on the collective power and intention of folks who have already completed the 40 Day Transformation and know they want more. It is almost exclusively practice based. It is not rigorous per se', but it is intentional. The Practicum is about experiments in living daily life from awareness and presence, with purpose.

The group will meet 6 Wednesday evenings. The focus of our group gatherings will be group practice. A sample Wednesday evening will look like this;

  • 7:00-7:15pm Check-in & Social – Time for participants to connect and share on their journey, obstacles, and awakenings
  • 7:15 – 8:15pm Sadhana Experiment – progressively involved set of practices to bring us into presence and witness consciousness
  • 8:15 – 8:30pm Gathering – Gathering the energy of the group through pranayam, and meditation
  • 8:30 – 9pm Prana Kosha – Group sharing on obstacle that are creating suffering

Your homework will consist of simple, actionable activities and experiments to bring your yoga home more fully. Remember "Yoga" from a 40 Day Transformation perspective is much broader than yoga postures we do in class. Homework will look something like this;

  • Yoga – 10 minute daily practice. Additional yoga is optional, encouraged, supported, but not required
  • Pranayam – 10 minutes of alternate nostril breathing daily (guided)
  • Meditation – 10 minutes of daily meditation
  • Fasting – One of your daily meals is fruits & veggies only (smoothie, soup, roasted)
  • Fasting - No sugar, cakes, candies, cookies, or confections for 40 days

STARTS: Wednesday October 11th at 7:00 pm
ENDS: Friday November 15th

Registration Fee:

  • $150. 10% discount for RTW Members. Yoga membership not included.
  • 40% off one 55 minute private Massage, Reiki, Craniosacral, or Reflexology appointment
  • One 30 minute private with Mike during the first 4 weeks of the program
